Club Meeting – 5/3/2025

We had a great working session this morning.  Carl, Randy, Brian and I had a great time experimenting with our hand held radios.  About half of the time was spent working with WoAD, an Android app for sending email via Winlink.  We were successful in getting all radios configured, but we were too far away from a RMS node to actually send mail.  The rest of the time we spent experimenting with APRS, both with and without APRSDroid.  The BTECH UV-PRO radios, with their built in KISS interface, were fun to play with and we all learned a lot.  This is what ham radio is all about.  Thanks again for the fun and fellowship, friends!
