Short Mountain Repeater Club — 8 hours ago
To all current members and former members of the Short Mountain Repeater Club we will be having a meeting on Saturday October 3rd 2026 to discuss the future of the club and repeater. At this time the club is needing more membership participation at the meeting and in the club in general. We are also in need of a treasurer for the club as well. We cancelled the hamfest due to lack of help for the hamfest and not enough table rentals. Our meeting attendance is down to 4-6 people and 4 of those are officers. If we cannot come up with more support at the meetings and more membership the club may have to shut down. It is not the outcome that we want because this club has been around over 40 years. But the repeater has the best coverage in Middle Tennessee. So, if you are interested in helping keep the club around for another 40 years please come to the meeting.
