• What do I need to do ahead of time?
  • You’ll need to sign up and pay for your exam ($10) online at the following link: https://ham.study/sessions/6871aa17cd4e8518caa402f8/1.
  • This is part of a multistep process that will trigger your registration for the class.
• How hard is the exam? The exam consists of 35 multiple-choice questions drawn from the published Technician question pool. If you attend the full class and participate in the practice tests, you’ll be well prepared!
• What happens after I pass? Once you pass the exam, your license will be processed with the FCC, and you’ll receive your callsign—often within days. You’ll be ready to transmit, join nets, and participate in local and global amateur radio events!
